The season

Three productions, all original

We write our own shows, so every role is made for the students in the room. Each season has a new story.

November

Lantern Night

A fall revue of songs, dances and short scenes. Every class brings a number to the stage, and families fill the room in November.

How auditions work

Spring musical

How auditions work

An audition is a workshop with the whole group, not a test in front of a panel.

  1. 01

Step 1: Sign up in the fall

Students who want to audition say so on our enrollment page, and receive the song and the dance ahead of time.

  2. 02

Step 2: Come to the workshop

In January the group learns a short song and a short dance together, then reads a scene in pairs.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Callbacks

A few students are asked back in the same month to read with different partners.

  4. 04

    Step 4: The cast list

It goes out in early February. Rehearsals for the cast are on Saturdays through April.
